A Problem We Kept Seeing, A Solution We Had to Build
βFor over 30 years, we've been remodeling kitchens and bathrooms, installing beautiful tile, grout, and stone finishes for hundreds of families. But we kept seeing the same thing happen, over and over.
The problem was hiding in plain sight.
β
Customers would call us back a year or two after a remodel, upset that their grout looked worn, discolored, or eaten away. Their beautiful new bathroom looked old before its time. The tile work was solid, but something was destroying it from the inside.
β
It wasn't the tile. It was the cleaner.
After digging into it, we found the real culprit: the harsh, generic cleaners people were using every week. Bleach, ammonia, and other aggressive chemicals don't just clean the surface, they break down the actual bonding agents in grout, stone, and vinyl flooring. Every wipe-down was quietly undoing our work. So we did something about it. Instead of accepting it as the cost of doing business, we started researching and mixing our own formulas, plant-based, non-toxic, and built specifically for the surfaces we install every day. We tested them in our own bathrooms first, then in our customers' homes, refining the chemistry until it did one thing perfectly: clean without destroying.
β
Power Plant Products was born from the job site, not a lab.
This isn't a generic all-purpose cleaner with a nice label. Every formula is built for a specific surface, grout, stone and quartz, LVT/LVP flooring, because generic chemistry is exactly what causes the damage in the first place. It's the cleaner that won't destroy your grout, made by the people who've been fixing grout for 30 years.
